Senior Get Fit Class - Senior Get Fit Class-Mondays Senior Get Fit Class (Seniors at all fitness levels. Work at your pace and ability.)This 45 minute class is a combination of low intensity cardio, strength training (light weights), stretching and toning all set to music from the 50's and 60's!
This is a great class to add to your current activities and is meant for all Seniors at all fitness levels. Most of the class is done standing. There are a few times we sit and work with the weights while sitting in a chair. This is a fun class that will leave you energized and feeling strong!Bring light hand weights and water to each class.There will be a minimum of 6 people for this class.

Barre is Back!! - Barre is Back!! Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements (think small movements) designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.In addition to building strength, this full-body workout also develops agility and flexibility, good posture and toned muscles.In this 45-minute class you will focus on form, posture, stretching, toning, alignment and movement.No yoga mat needed. We will be working our core and performing standing abdominal exercises throughout the class.Bring water, hand weights and please have fun!

Please join Janis Copes from Escape the Crate, LLC for this informative 6 week course designed to help you, the handler, learn how to get the behavior you want from your dog using positive reinforcement techniques. These classes will give you the tools for solving problems such as housebreaking, chewing, mouthing, jumping and more. Lessons will include teaching sit, down, come, stay, walk on loose lead, and interact with people without jumping. The goal is to teach your dog to be a polite family member. Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed. Dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and Bordetella are also recommended. Proof of Rabies vaccination is required prior to the first class. Mad Science: Crazy Chem Works - Mad Science- Crazy Chem Works Put on your goggles, lab coats, and raise your flasks with Mad Science! Bubbling dry ice potions, crazy chemical reactions, and big explosions will be happening in this MAD LAB! Your scientists will be doing hands on chemistry while learning the basic knowledge of the science! They will be creating chemical reactions such as the infamous elephant toothpaste that they can't stop talking about and slime they have perfected but have not! Every student receives a lab coat, goggles and specially designed Mad Science Take Homes to help extend learning at home.

CT Table Tennis - Table Tennis Saturdays Table Tennis is a fun game, and health enhancing lifetime activity but also a mentally challenging international, Olympic Sport where age, size, strength and gender are less important than skills and strategies learned.By matching up compatible players by skill levels, from novice to intermediate and Nationally rated expert players, and providing informal instruction, players will gain skills, especially spin creation to become better players in a fun informal program conducted by former National Collegiate Finalist and State Men's Champion, Coach Dave Strang.Players need not commit or pre-register each playing date but should arrive and pay at the office within 2 hours after the listed starting time.Rackets are available to borrow, or arrangements and advise to buy them during the club meeting.Drop in-Residents $10.00 Non Residents $12.00 to be paid at the recreation office before play.

Senior Get Fit Class - Senior Get Fit Class-Mondays Senior Get Fit Class (Seniors at all fitness levels. Work at your pace and ability.)This 45 minute class is a combination of low intensity cardio, strength training (light weights), stretching and toning all set to music from the 50's and 60's!
This is a great class to add to your current activities and is meant for all Seniors at all fitness levels. Most of the class is done standing. There are a few times we sit and work with the weights while sitting in a chair. This is a fun class that will leave you energized and feeling strong!Bring light hand weights and water to each class.There will be a minimum of 6 people for this class.

Barre is Back!! - Barre is Back!! Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements (think small movements) designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.In addition to building strength, this full-body workout also develops agility and flexibility, good posture and toned muscles.In this 45-minute class you will focus on form, posture, stretching, toning, alignment and movement.No yoga mat needed. BPT: Youth Fitness and Sports Training - BPT Youth Fitness and Sports Training This youth and teen fitness program aims to provide today's young athletes with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in any sports setting. Classes will consist of exercises and drills designed to improve muscular strength and function, speed and agility, and neuromuscular control, as well as reducing the risk of injury both on and off the field. Athletes who join will not only see an increase in their physical abilities, but also in their abilities to overcome challenges and push past their own limits.

Youth Volleyball Ages 6-9 - Youth Volleyball Ages 6-9 Starting Wednesday October 18th and running until November 15th your kids will participate in a 5 week introductory program to the game of Volleyball! Here they will learn the basics of the game of volleyball. The boys and girls will learn essential skills, rules, teamwork, and good sportsmanship while most importantly having fun! Escape The Crate Beginner I Dog Training - Escape the Crate Session Beginner 1 Dog Training Wednesdays
Please join Janis Copes from Escape the Crate, LLC for this informative 6 week course designed to help you, the handler, learn how to get the behavior you want from your dog using positive reinforcement techniques. These classes will give you the tools for solving problems such as housebreaking, chewing, mouthing, jumping and more. Lessons will include teaching sit, down, come, stay, walk on loose lead, and interact with people without jumping. The goal is to teach your dog to be a polite family member. Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed. Dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and Bordetella are also recommended. Proof of Rabies vaccination is required prior to the first class. No dog will be allowed in class without up-to-date Rabies vaccination. Equipment required: Flat buckle collar or front clip harness (no choke, prong or e-collars allowed), 6 foot leash and yummy treats. Mad Science: Crazy Chem Works - Mad Science- Crazy Chem Works Put on your goggles, lab coats, and raise your flasks with Mad Science! Bubbling dry ice potions, crazy chemical reactions, and big explosions will be happening in this MAD LAB! Your scientists will be doing hands on chemistry while learning the basic knowledge of the science! They will be creating chemical reactions such as the infamous elephant toothpaste that they can't stop talking about and slime they have perfected but have not! Every student receives a lab coat, goggles and specially designed Mad Science Take Homes to help extend learning at home.
