SENIOR FOCUSED PILATES BARRE (AGES 55 AND OVER) PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS CLASS. We must have 4 people to run this class.
This new Senior Focused Barre class is a step up and more challenging than the former Senior Get Fit class. The pace is quicker, the music is more modern, and the movements are more deliberate. Movement is still low impact and light to moderate cardio.
We do not sit in this class. You will be standing at the ballet barres for the 45 minutes.
In addition to building strength, this full-body workout also develops agility and flexibility, good posture and toned muscles.
During class you will focus on form, posture, stretching, toning, alignment and movement.
We will be working our core and performing standing abdominal exercises in addition to upper and lower body exercises.
Bring water, hand weights to class.
