FIT FLOW   EXERCISING WITH A WEIGHTED ROPE (PROVIDED BY REC DEPT)   Fitness involving the use of a weighted rope is a movement practice that involves swinging a rope around the body in continuous, flowing, and often figure-eight patterns while engaging the spine, shoulders, hips, and core.    This graceful flowing exercise style emphasizes rotational movement and coordination between the upper and lower body, training the muscles, joints, and nervous system simultaneously.   Physical Benefits:   Improves coordination, balance, and timing Builds muscular endurance and core strength Enhances cardiovascular fitness Increases mobility in shoulders, spine, and hips Supports joint health and lymphatic circulation   Cognitive and Neurological Benefits:   Engages both hemispheres of the brain Reinforces contralateral movement patterns   Practical Advantages:   Low-impact, joint-friendly Beginner friendly All ages will benefit
 
5:30 PM - 6:15 PM    Pilates Barre - Pilates Barre
Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements (think small movements) designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.In addition to building strength, this full-body workout also develops agility and flexibility, good posture and toned muscles.In this 45-minute class you will focus on form, posture, stretching, toning, alignment and movement.No yoga mat needed. We will be working our core and performing standing abdominal exercises throughout the class.Bring water, hand weights and please have fun!
