The intermediate class is for students that have completed the Beginner 1 and 2 classes and are looking to take their skills to the next level. We will begin to work on the skills needed to pass the Canine Good Citizen test along with learning some "Real World skills" while working in various locations.
The following skills are needed to join the Intermediate class:
- Minimal to no jumping when greeting.
- Loose leash walking both at your side and with a 6 foot leash.
- No reactivity to other dogs as we will be working in close proximity with each other.
Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed. Dogs are required to be vaccinated against Rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and Bordetella are also recommended. Registration, payment, and proof of rabies must be submitted in order to reserve your spot in the class. No dogs will be allowed in class without an up-to-date Rabies vaccination.
